CHARGING BATTERIES IN THE CEMETERY

Forgotten and overgrown, that's how we found the small cemetery in Limbourg (Belgium). You could easily overlook the cemetery, as it is located in the woods on the edge of the village, in the middle of the hillside and still in front of the walls of this relic of a village. Right at the foot of the church of St. Georges, the former citizens of the town remain in their eternal sleep. Moss covers most of the graves and coarse gravel lies scattered between them, broken up at corners by individual plants. Ivy everywhere on the washed-out, bleached gravestones, the squeaking of mice that have found their home in the cracks in the rock walls and watch over the dead. Like a carefree spirit, a painter with an easel sits on his little stool between the graves and immortalizes what is eternal.
