Hiking

The Haffmans Park or Demerpark is a municipal park in Bilzen, located along the Demer in the southeast of the city. The garden, now a park, is laid out in English landscape style. This park was originally the garden of a notary house, owned by the Haffmans family. This house, in neo-Rococo style, is still privately owned. In the park is also the Bilzermolen, a watermill on the Demer. Further upstream along the Demer lies the Katteberg nature reserve.
