The origins of the small chapel date back to 1375. Another important date, inscribed on the keystone of the chapel entrance, is closely linked not only to the building itself, but also to a tragic chapter in Ehrang's history. In 1632, after the plague years with 46 deaths, the chapel was renovated with its crucifixion group.
