The Butzerbachtal is very nice. But you have to be good on foot, because it is partly on narrow paths, climbing and suspension bridges forward. A walking stick is not a must, but helpful.

Very, very idyllic. This time it was only small trickle waterfalls, which is certainly due to the dry summer. Possibly. With lots of water you can not necessarily walk dry on some passages.

The wild and romantic Butzerbachtal with its waterfalls is a worth seeing and popular route. There are even suspension bridges, bridges, steel stairs, sometimes ropes and railings. Sometimes you can just cross the stream just like that. You should be prepared for muddy and slippery passages and for the fact that this path can be busy on weekends. On the way there is the beer garden at Ramstein Castle. Otherwise gastronomy in Butzweiler or Kordel.

Fantastically beautiful way. Sturdy shoes should be worn when hiking through the Butzbach Gorge.

This little canyon is beautiful.
After an overnight stay next to the castle, we were there quite early and had the whole gorge to ourselves.

Very rustic and wild valley with some small waterfalls, which is still easy to walk thanks to numerous aids such as stairs, bridges, handrails etc. Nevertheless, sturdy shoes are recommended and the floor is mostly muddy and sometimes slippery. A great natural adventure playground for children from approx. 4 years!

A partly mystical mood, ivy climbs the trees, fallen trees, like the Mikado for giants ... the course of the stream itself, it gurgles, many natural rock steps with smaller waterfalls, even a natural bathtub ... everything is there.

It always goes over small bridges over the stream. Very rustic and absolutely great for our dog. He loves water. And this is very clear and clean here
