The Eiderbach Valley is magnificent! And I highly recommend the detour to the Kirschfelsen rock. I've rarely seen such a magnificent view. The trail does have a few stretches of forest highway, though. But in my opinion, the two highlights easily make up for it. 😀 I could imagine it being crowded on

I just did the two tours one after the other. It was a natural fit. The Höllenberg tour is unspectacular but very, very beautiful! It's great on hot days, as it's through the forest the whole way. Circular Trail 2 is a lovely way to end the day. Once you've completed the 1.5 km of asphalt, the trail is very beautiful.
