The Quedlinburg Roland is a 2.75 meter high Roland statue made of red sandstone on the market square at the corner of Quedlinburg town hall. With its size, it is the second smallest and, alongside the Rolandes of Bremen and Halberstadt, one of the oldest surviving Roland figures.

The Roland of Quedlinburg, erected before 1460, was overthrown in 1477 after the city was conquered as a symbol of municipal freedom. It was only rebuilt almost 400 years later.

The Quedlinburg Roland is a 2.75 meter high Roland statue made of red sandstone on the market square at the southwest corner of Quedlinburg town hall. Their creator is unknown. With its size, it is the second smallest and, alongside the Rolandes of Bremen and Halberstadt, one of the oldest surviving Roland figures. It is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
The Quedlinburg Roland was first mentioned in 1460 after costs for the repairs surfaced. It is assumed that it was built relatively soon after Quedlinburg joined the Hanseatic League in 1426 and the Roland in 1433 in the sister city of Halberstadt. It represents a knight figure with a raised sword and shield. In 1477 the statue was destroyed at the instigation of the abbess Hedwig, Duchess of Saxony. In 1569 the council had the statue of Roland re-erected in the courtyard of the Ratskeller and in 1869 the fragments of the statue of Roland were set up in front of the town hall.
