The market church St. Benedikti was first documented in 1233 as a hall church with octagonal pillars and a late-Gothic choir from the 15th century, but is much older, since it was consecrated in 1173 and still shows Romanesque remains. Thus, in the southern aisle, a walled Romanesque window, and also in the tower, Romanesque windows are preserved.

St. Benedicti is well recognized by the different towers. One has only a miniature size
This church has undergone some renovations. The originally Romanesque church was first converted into an early Gothic basilica, then in the 15th century into a late Gothic hall church. That was the most extensive construction project. The baroque high altar dates back to 1700.
