Hof van Savoye was the residential palace of Margaret of Austria from 1507.
From then on Mechelen was 'The Capital of the Low'
Netherlands'. The court had one of the first buildings with Renaissance elements in the Low Countries.
The Schepenbank was located here from 1616.
Since the early 19th century, the palace has served as a court of law. The garden is practical but not accessible to the general public due to corona. May have a glimpse.
