Sometimes you can see a fine reddish fringe over the moss in our area...
“Real” moss does not bloom, because the flowers with integrated SEEDS were only “invented” by the more highly developed flowering plants, the “naked seeds” (gymnosperms) or “angiosperms” (angiosperms).
In mosses, the inconspicuous antheridia and archegonia ensure reproduction.
