Complement to Ida: down is also, but if you continue the single trail through the forest, you get to the Sandberg, and still high in the easterly direction on the Pickerweg. This is an old trade and pilgrimage route between Osnabrück and Wildeshausen. Then right follows a viewing platform from which you can enjoy a beautiful view over the moor, but that is another highlight ....
