Numerous mill wheels once turned here. The control of the weirs was the responsibility of a pond keeper whose former home was located away from the “Jägerhaus” settlement directly on the river.
In addition to milling, gold mining was once an important industry. The traces can still be found everywhere today. Numerous cycling and hiking trails lead to numerous large and small attractions in the valley.
