The Mylau swimming pool at Hirschstein was inaugurated on June 15, 1895, and from 1896 women were also allowed to swim there if no men were present. In 1929/30 the pool was significantly expanded.
Today the Mylau outdoor pool is a popular leisure facility run by a club, which is particularly impressive due to its historical flair.
