The street "Rue des combattants" has a variety of architectural monuments, ranging from modest craftsmen's houses to farms and stately residences.

On the street, a corner tower marks the entrance to an imposing building with two wings arranged at right angles. This entrance leads to a park accessed through a wide 17th-century gate and closed by a "teûtê" (*term from the Walloon dialect, particularly from Liège Walloon. "Teûtê" means "small roof gate".). Numerous such roofs, called "teûtés", have been preserved in the center of the village and represent true symbols of local heritage and crafts.

The main building on the street, built in the 18th century, connects to the neighboring building to extend the narrow street layout.

It is the only remnant of the Château d'Olne, built in 1703 for Guillaume d'Olne and at the time one of the most beautiful residences in the Pays de Herve.

The oldest part of the "castle" was built around 1710 by Warnier Chrouet. Son of Henry Chrouet, first "minister of the reformed religion" (Protestant). Warnier Chrouet studied medicine in Leiden and became a "famous" doctor thanks to his books on the waters of Spa, Chaudfontaine and Aix-la-Chapelle.

The gate was initially located to the left of the house and was moved to its current location around 1920 to facilitate the passage of ploughs.

The buildings have since been converted into homes.

The building is sometimes called "de Terwangne" or "de Haring", after its former owners.
