Victor Hugo wrote of the Vesdre valley that it is the “most beautiful valley in the world, sometimes a ravine, often a garden, always a paradise”. From here you have a beautiful view over Nessonvaux on the right, and on the left you look towards Goffontaine. The forests on the slopes ahead of us form the approach to the Belgian Ardennes.
