The Fasnacht fountain (also: Tinguely fountain or Carnaval) is a fountain created by the artist Jean Tinguely and stands on the Theaterplatz in the Swiss city of Basel.
It was built between 1975 and 1977 on the site of the stage of the old, demolished city theater and was a gift from the 50-year-old Migros to the city of Basel.
