Vordorfermühle belongs to the municipality of Tröstau. The place is in the Röslautal. The beginning of the town probably dates back to 1499. The Hammerstatt mentioned in this year's land register was probably on the site of the current "Zur Mühle" inn. Tin smelting was added later. The town at the foot of the Schneeberg has 42 houses and has around 120 inhabitants.
