Der Rundwanderweg 4 hat mir noch gefehlt in der Reihe der Wanderwege um Röslau. Und ich fand ihn mindestens so schön wie die 1, die wir ja demnächst mit dem FGV Oberkotzau laufen wollen.
Der Weg verläuft vom Rathaus (wie alle Wege) zunächst nach Brücklas, überquert dort die Straße, die über Brücklas hinaus

Vorwanderung zur geplanten Tour am 26. September.
Ich bin diesen Weg schon mal im Frühjahr gelaufen und war durchaus angetan von der Abwechslung, die dieser Weg bietet. Wir sind am Rathaus gestartet, hinab zur Eger gelaufen und haben dort die Auenlandschaft durchquert, nicht ohne gleich nach Erreichen

A fabulous 21 hikers were the group from FGV Oberkotzau today, who set off northwest of Bayreuth to explore the Teufelsloch! And this despite the rather high outside temperatures! But since the path led predominantly through the forest, it was still quite manageable!

The Teufelsloch - a wild gorge in a place you wouldn't expect to find it! We stumbled upon it by chance last year when we were hiking the Jean-Paul-Weg trail, which leads through this gorge. But I already explained that on the March tour.

Originally, I wanted to hike another Frankenwaldsteigla today, but after reports emerged that the northern Kronach district had been hit by severe storms, I looked for an alternative; after all, one had to expect a multitude of fallen trees!

A very nice tour today!
15 FGV members were out and about to visit Thusfall, which some actually didn't know yet. All signals were green:
- The wet meadow was dry.
- The construction site at the Thusmühle was passable, the path was no longer blocked (at least not clearly... 😉).
- The Thus or Eger fall
