I've never seen such an imposing church! A detour to admire is definitely worth it!

Very beautiful church with a baroque altar made of stucco marble. The work was all carried out by the local artists and artisans. A church tour is offered on Thursdays at 4 p.m.

The high altar and the two side altars were created by the Tannheim plasterer Silvester Wöber. The younger side chapel altars were designed by Johann Striegl from Pflach and Josef Anton Buck from Weißenbach.
The impressive high altar painting, painted by Franz Alois Weiß from Rettenberg, shows the handing over of the rosary by Mary and Child to Saint Dominic, below which are depicted the church patron, Saint Nicholas of Myra, together with the two diocesan patrons of Augsburg, Ulrich and Afra.
The two side altars contain oil paintings by Paul Zeiller from Reutte with images of the Holy Family on the right side altar and the crucifixion group on the left side altar. The paintings in the chapel altars, depictions of Saint Joseph and the fourteen helpers in need, are by Johann Kärle.

The people's altar made of Jura marble was created in 1996 by the academic sculptor Herbert Albrecht. It symbolizes Christ as the center and the four evangelists in the pillars. The lectern (ambo), also made of Jura marble by Herbert Albrecht, symbolizes the Old and New Testaments.
The two large ceiling frescoes show the "Last Judgement" in the nave and the "Last Supper" in the choir. They were created by Josef Keller from Pfronten.
