Bad Kissinger Hütte

Bad Kissinger Hütte is part of the DAV and is committed to the initiative “This is how the mountains taste”. The hut owners try to obtain a large part of the prepared food from local farmers and manufacturers in order to guarantee the guests an authentic Alpine experience. And the dishes are really impressive!

We recommend a hike to the Bad Kissinger Hütte from Füssener Jöchle via the Gräner Höhenweg. You will be rewarded in nice weather with an overwhelming view. The Füssener Jöchle can be mastered with the mountain railway, so there are still enough energy reserves left after a stop on the Bad Kissinger hut to climb the nearby 1986 meter high Aggenstein.

Nice hut in a unique location with good food - especially vegetarian and vegan options. The homemade cake is great (even if you are full of it for the next few days).

The Bad Kissinger Hütte offers a wonderful view when the weather is nice and invites you to rest with food and drinks. After refreshment, the ascent to Aggenstein is recommended from here.

Very nice cabin with super nice host people. A reservation is recommended, as this base is easily accessible from both sides. Definitely take the Aggenstein :).

The route from Gähn to the hut is quite difficult on stony forest road. The hut is not always open. Many hikers stood in the autumn holidays in mid-October in front of closed doors. The view is really breathtaking.

The hut is very nice, you have a gigantic view of the Hopfensee and the Forggensee and the surrounding mountains. Totally cozy inside, the food there is also great and the hut staff are very nice.

After a successful summit ascent, the Bad Kissinger Hütte offers a good place to stop for refreshments. It also offers overnight accommodation during the summer months.

It was the first time for me to do such a tour. Without knowing what to expect, I embarked on this adventure with friends and, as always, was rewarded. The ascent over the Reichenbachklamm offers a great opportunity to be distracted by the difference in altitude to be climbed.
There is so much to discover along the way. In addition to orchids and other plants, you can also u. watch chamois.
The stop in the hut was another reward. The hut magic has a special flair. Simply enjoy!
In any case, it was worth it for me.
