Tips

  • Following an initiative by the Beautification Association, the Karl Olga Fountain, made of red Veronese marble, was created in 1886. The fountain, designed in the Renaissance style, bears the initials of the then royal couple, Charles I and Olga Nikolaevna Romanova, of Württemberg. The fountain, which originally faced the street, was aligned towards Lake Constance when the Olgastrasse/Friedrichstrasse intersection area was redesigned.
