Hidden in the middle of the forest lies this small building from 1748, which used to serve as a shelter and shelter for shepherds. The cycle route "In the footsteps of Wilhelm Busch" passes here.

The small house for the swineherd, who lived with the pigs in the forest at the time of acorn fattening, was built around 1748 in the Wiedensahler Forest. A stable for the livestock was built right next to it. Wilhelm Busch immortalized it in his drawings. While the shepherd's house remained at its old location and in its original form, the stable was moved to a meadow in 1908. It initially served as a pasture stable, but today there is a small sawmill there.
