The 18th-century inn and farm De Swaen is a former stagecoach stop on the Liège-Aachen route. The first mention of the inn dates back to 1580. The current house/inn dates from 1727 and was renovated in 1742. The carriage house and stables date from 1766. It is currently operated as a tavern.
