Cast iron border marker 24 on the border between the municipality of Voeren and the Netherlands, placed as a result of the treaty of Maastricht of 8 August 1843 whereby border markers were placed along the entire Belgian-Dutch border. This boundary marker is located at the Snauwenberghoeve and Snauwenberg holiday homes. There is an insect hotel and a little further you can, if desired, step through the field to the beautiful South Limburg Mheer and Hurstergrob nature reserve if you don't feel like being near Altenbroek for once.
