It all depends on the vegetation on the fields whether you can actually see the Thuringian Forest from this vantage point with its information board. If so, you'll see the Wartburg Castle and the significantly taller Inselsberg. If you can't see anything here, you can enjoy an almost equally beautiful view a little further south from a wooden shed. From there, you can get a good view of the grassy area.
