Palazzi e giardini / Enchanted Gardens
The wealth brought by the success of the emigrants made it possible to build new buildings and renovate existing facades in the second half of the 19th century, giving the village its characteristic appearance and cosmopolitan charm.
But it is not only the magnificent palaces that are fascinating, but also the lush gardens, which are considered an integral part of the mansions and part of Poschiavo's unique urban planning. "Enchanted Gardens" opens these gardens, which are practically all privately owned, to the public. Several gardens in the village provide the wings for the weekly summer concerts. The concerts are crowned by a tasting of local wines.
