We started at the forest car park on Talweg in Ortisei. Then we hiked over the rock path, which was nothing special, to the Priorfelsen. There is a hut there and from the rock you have a wonderful view of the Rhine Valley. We continued through the forest, partly on stony paths, steeply uphill towards Gießhübel. When you come out of the forest you will find an old fireplace, the place is good for a break. Now it goes a bit along the road and then steeply downhill through the forest, on a partly wet path. To see Eduardshöhe in green was a rarity for me. From there you can take the tar road to the Berglusthaus. Then it goes over meadow and through forest back to the parking lot. A nice round tour with views.

Hiked off in the sunshine and came to the forest after the Glockenwiese. Then thunderstorms and heavy rain, the other way around and in the forest the paths were rivers in no time and at the Fuhrt the water shot over the path like a waterfall. We had to wade across almost knee-deep flowing water. After that we were soaking wet to the bone.

Final tour on the given route to the fishing village of Vitt and Cape Arkona. A day ticket for € 6.50 must be purchased for the only parking space. It is worth making the loop via Vitt, because from there you have the best view of Cape Arkona. You can't go down to the water at the lighthouses. Unfortunately not even see the sea. Actually, we wanted to go further to the northernmost vantage point, but since it was already late in the afternoon, we preferred to drive to Lohme on the steep coast to have dinner in the restaurant at home. It was worth it. Because afterwards we could see the evening sun from the beach.
