Lukashütte beim „Verbrannten Felsen"

It is a very old refuge, next to which the beautiful cross was built in 1971. There is a beautiful view of the Black Forest and Vosges at all times.

Very nice view over the Murg valley. The summit cross is located a few meters from the hut on a ledge. In snow and mud I would advise against going to the cross, the hut is always accessible and can be reached without the risk of falling.

The Lukashütte invites you to take a break with beautiful views of the front Murg Valley, the Rhine Valley and the mountains on the other side, including the Mahlberg with Karlsruhe Tower and Bernstein (natural monument).

The Lukashütte is in an exposed location on the Burned Rock. The burned rock consists of rocks from the Rotliegend. These are the oldest sedimentary rocks in Baden-Württemberg.
