To expand the existing manor building, after Amberg and the Upper Palatinate passed to the Palatinate Electors, the front stone house, which still exists today under the name “Klösterl”, and the rear stone house on the Vils, which were demolished in the 18th century, were built. The former contained the princely chapel and the council chamber.
