Tips
The descent from Liebethal down into the gorge is a little challenge, but it is worth it. You should be sure-footed and wear good shoes. We lingered briefly on the bridge and simply enjoyed nature.

A beautiful forest path along the Wesenitz and past the Lohmener Klamm. Away from the noise of the streets, you can go for a nice walk here. Also on the route is a historic hydroelectric power station and an active open pit sandstone mine.

The path and bridge at the Lohmener Klamm are really quaint and beautiful, plus the hydroelectric power station in the Niezelgrund, so it's worth going here.
