Today's Wilke viewpoint has been renamed several times. "Kleine Bastei" - which is probably very true - became Poltermann's Ruh and in 1902 the mountain club dedicated the place as "Wilke Aussicht".

The well signposted Wilke view offers you a great view of the Elbe valley and the Bastei. From the village of Wehlen it is a small but steep stone's throw (approx. 1km & 70 meters in altitude).

Opposite you Wilkeausicht on the other side of the Elbe is the Diakonische Familien-Urlaubsstätte Sankt Ursula, also there on the villa visible on the upper Elbhang there is a freely accessible panoramic terrace with rest tables and benches, not far from it in the direction of Wehlen about 400m away, above the bath, the "Kleine Bastei" is also a lookout rock with a view of Wehlen and the castle.
