The city bay on the Great Eutiner Lake is, so to speak, the "living room of the city" - equally popular with locals and tourists. The aging promenade was modernized and reinterpreted in time for the State Garden Show.

A spacious wooden deck now invites you to stroll and linger right on the lake. The deck encloses the city bay and extends the promenade onto the water. The water garden with water lilies sets a gardening accent.

The promenade made of light anthracite-colored natural stone paving visually interlocks the city and the lake. Large-format walking slabs and basalt paving lead through the bay to the transition to the lake park. Slabs and paving are designed in a light-dark look to enable visually impaired people to find their way around. The waterway and the rose garden, whose main path has been renovated, connect the promenade directly to the city.
