In September 2017, the last train of the decommissioned Transrapid test facility Emsland, the Transrapid 09 (TR09), was installed on the company premises. The Kemper family, who came from Hermann Kemper, the inventor of the magnetic levitation railway, had bought it for € 200,001. The three sections of the train, each 25 m long, are to be used as conference and exhibition rooms on the history of the Transrapid
