The entire roofs and facades in the village Brennersgrün are all covered with slate from the region. This place looks very mystical in contrast to the dark facades, the warmly designed, colorful front gardens appear with full flower power. My highlight on the Steinbach am Wald to Blankenstein stage: the Rennsteighaus in Brennersgrün!!!
Cold drinks, coffee, tea, small snacks for a donation. Very well maintained, clean, free (!) toilets and showers. And all of this is managed on a voluntary basis. A thousand thanks to the Brennersgrüner Waldfinken.
