Hiking

The building used to be the guardhouse of the NVA troops, who monitored southern German airspace from the Wetzstein. Today the Wetzsteinhütte is a small restaurant and hikers can stop in. Open on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Hiking

Beautiful immediate surroundings of the Wettsteinhütte and the Wetzstein. There's a lot to explore.

Hiking

If you see the Jeseníky Tower, just a little further behind it. The Thuringian Forest Association takes care of the catering here. The prices are great.
