"The history of the Sinzig Zehnhof with its inner courtyard and knights' hall goes back to the year 855. It is assumed that this was the location of the tithe collection point set up by Emperor Lothar I. However, nothing of the original building remains today. The older part of the building that can be seen today was given its traditional form around 1740, and the castle-like building was built in 1875."
