Hiking

Not only during the day you have a magnificent view of Durlach and Karlsruhe as well as towards the Rhine plain and the Rhine-Neckar area. It's really romantic here when it's dark. The remains of an old castle are accessible as a lookout tower. You can also go up the mountain itself with the Turmbergbahn from Durlach.

The Turmberg is the local mountain of the former residence town of Durlach in Baden. It is 256 meters high and the northwesternmost peak of the Black Forest at the transition between the low mountain range and the Kraichgau hilly landscape.
