The 1903 house, designed by architect Pauls Mandelštams, is a real eye-catcher in Riga's Old Town. With its colorful facades and ornate details, it stands out from the surrounding buildings and tells of a different time when Riga was aspiring and characterized by architectural vision. The elegant combination of brick and plaster, decorated with gold accents, gives the building a special aura that you can hardly miss as you walk past.

What particularly caught my eye is the interesting entrance with its curved shapes and floral ornaments - a small detail that reveals a lot about the style of that time. The house, originally built as a tenement with shops on the ground floor, clearly bears the stamp of the Art Nouveau that is so present in Riga.
