Short hike as thunderstorms were forecast for midday... beautiful views (even though Mont Blanc was hooded in big clouds), transport into history with the explanatory panels of the ruined redoubt fort, airy ridge path as I like it and in-depth visit of the botanical garden at the Col du Petit Saint Bernard
