Well that doesn't seem to have water very often. Here you can also rest briefly on one of the benches.
According to the board, the well was used to supply water to the hamlet of "Friolffeshem" until a house water pipe was first commissioned in 1892. Since it was destroyed in April 1945, the fountain has served as a water source for the "Schloss" district.

Hiking

In December the fountain had water - see photo, but it was also used in sleet... In summer it is actually mostly dry, except after rainfall (e.g. September 2024).
