The Upper Mill is the first mill in the Siebenmühlental valley. Known as the Mohrenmühle (Moor Mill) since 1383, it was known as the Laxenmühle (Lax Mill) in the 17th century and is now known as the Obere Mühle (Upper Mill).
Today it houses a horse boarding facility and is operated as the Obere Mühle Riding Club.

A beautiful vantage point on the Schlossberg hill with seating. The Schlossberg hill was first mentioned in a Württemberg inventory book in 1572 as "Burgstall" (castle stable). As early as 1749, the name "Schloß Graben" (castle ditch) appeared in a tax register.
