Tips

  • Wanderklaus

One of the most beautiful cycling routes in Greater Stuttgart. Along the former railway line it goes through the beautiful Siebenmühlental past the 7 mills and several inns and beer gardens.

Very well suited to fast forward - and beautiful on top of that. On nice days on weekends but populated like a pedestrian street.

Wanderklaus is right it is a very beautiful track, I drove the track even in the winter of many times when you could not drive on normal forest roads because of the mud.

Well tarred path, about 10km long. Is making good progress and is off the road. Leads from Musberg to Burkhardtsmühle or Glashütte (Waldenbuch)

Partly a bit crowded, but a scenic and well-paved track, where there are also refreshments.

Beautiful former railway line which is now a bike path.
No cars, but now a lot of cycling.
Not recommended for pedestrians on sunny weekends.

Low slope. Also suitable for people with not so good condition.

Beautiful Siebenmühlental with many restaurants, but with a lot of "traffic" and unfortunately a lot of paved roads.

Because the track is well paved, you can drive it all year round.

very nice, easy to drive route, from Leinfelden ago always slightly downhill.
Is also good to drive in summer, since noon mostly in the shade.
At certain times, however, very well visited / traveled.

The route is well laid out and easy to navigate. However, also well frequented by pedestrians, families with prams, inline skating, etc. but with consideration (especially road cyclists), it works well.

I also drive this route often. Nice to drive, especially downhill from Musberg to Burkhardtsmühle! But, as several of you mentioned before, totally overcrowded on Sundays and public holidays. Then it gets difficult sometimes, you just have to be careful and drive considerately! Watch out, in the middle of the path a driveway crosses the bike route, I don't think it's safe!
In the beer garden "Waldmeister" you can rest and think about how you want to continue.
