The castle fief, first mentioned in the 15th century, was partially destroyed in 1574/75 and rebuilt in 1621-24. The current four-winged complex dates largely from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is accessed through the two-storey gate building built in 1754, which bears the marital coat of arms of the owners at the time.
