The 5 m high European cross is assembled from individual cubes. Each symbolizes an EU member state and is the same shape and size. In the cubes there are stones from the respective EU member state, which are intended to point out the peculiarities of the country. For example, there is a stone from St. Stephen's Cathedral in the Austria cube.
