The front of the Langbathseen is the larger of the two. At 36 meters, it is quite deep and offers a welcome cooling off in summer - if you dare to disturb the beautiful reflection of the mountains around by jumping into the water. There is a hunting lodge on the west bank that was previously used by Emperor Franz Josef. There is something to eat in the Langbathsee Stüberl on the east bank.
