The Fünffingerfelsen is a bizarre sandstone formation in the Klusbergen near Halberstadt. It consists of five stone columns about 10 meters high, four of which are close together and one at a distance of about 10 meters from them. These pillars are remotely similar to the five fingers of one hand reaching out to the sky from the top of a smaller, sandstone mountain. (Source: Harzlife)

South of Halberstadt is the Klusfelsen in the Klus mountains. The vertical rock faces of this natural monument can only be seen from close proximity.
The sandstone massif has attracted interest since time immemorial. For a long time, a hermit ("Klausner") lived in the man-made caves. The name of the rock was derived from this use. To the east of the Klusfelsen are the so-called "chapel" and the apartment of the "Klausner".
Generations of people have left traces in the soft rock not only figuratively. The paths to the summit area are cut deep into the rock. However, an ascent on the almost vertical rocks is not entirely safe.
There is a freely accessible cave on the west side of the Klusfelsen. A closer look reveals that the rock massif is very rugged and is by no means as monolithic as it appears from a greater distance. To protect the sandstone formation, you should refrain from any mechanical processing of the soft material.
The Klusfelsen is located in the Klus Mountains on the southern outskirts of Halberstadt. You can take the tram or your own car to the edge of this mountain group. To do this, follow the signs from the city center towards Spiegelsberge and later towards Klussiedlung. In the side streets near the tram terminus there are a few ways to park the vehicle. The walk to Klusfelsen is about one kilometer and is well signposted. (Source: HArzlive)

The sandstone elevation on which the five "fingers" rise could only be seen a few years ago due to the dense population of trees when you were standing directly in front of it. In the meantime, however, this small hill has been freed from the previously lush vegetation. You can easily recognize the distinctive five-finger rock from the hiking trail leading past its foot. Until well into the 19th century, the Klusberg area was even completely bare. The imposing sandstone structure was easy to see from a great distance.Source: harzlife.de/harzrand2/fuenffingerfelsen.html

Please add the right pictures. Half of the pictures show the Klusfelsen or Teufelskanzel.
