The Klusfelsen is probably the most peculiar part of the Klusberge near Halberstadt. The influences of humans are unmistakable on this sandstone massif, which only appears monolithic from a distance. There are various cavities in the very jagged rock formation, some of which are enormous in size. These artificial caves are unique in their size in all of Germany.
