The Escalinata and Capela das Neves is a historical monument located in Portomarín. The staircase is an imposing stone structure that is located right in front of the ugly bridge through which you cross the Miño River to reach Portomarín. It is part of the French route of the Camino de Santiago. At the top of the stairs is the Capela das Neves, a small chapel. This chapel is located on an arch of the old medieval bridge of the town.
