"2024 - A reason to celebrate. Since 2002, after long years of hope and fear for the display greenhouses and finally since 2016 another 8 years of demolition and new construction work, we are now finally looking forward to the reopening of the tropical and desert houses. A wonderful event for the 160th anniversary of the Flora."

Hiking

A treetop path leads to the flowers and fruits of the jungle trees at a height of 5 m. Above it, the glass roof rises a further 12 m. Its name "Höhenweg" is borrowed from mountaineering, where this is the name given to a path parallel to a mountain ridge. Of course, there are no mountains in this glass house.
