The Roessingh Huis, also known as the Jannink Huis, is a beautiful mansion that now houses the Tourist Information Office. The house with the neoclassical facade was built in 1803 by the manufacturer Hendrik Jan Roessingh. The reason was his marriage to Johanna Berendina van Heek.
The house was severely damaged both in the city fire of 1862 and in a bomb attack in World War II and was rebuilt each time.
