Woke up in the morning, the sun was shining, so off on the bike towards Dorsten along the Wesel-Datteln Canal and another small loop through the pedestrian zone with the market before heading back home. For a reward, there was a delicious Stauder at Surmann (Pütter) and lo and behold, a few drops fell

First we went to the church hoping to grab an Easter candle, but that was a bust, all gone 🙈 then we continued to visit Mom, the way back via Wittringen, not a single hare to be seen, only cats, and then the rain came, but we had rain gear with us anyway. I wish you all a happy Easter with your loved ones 🐰

Actually, it was supposed to go out yesterday ☀️ but due to a hearing problem, which thankfully has been resolved, I went for a ride today and hey, I can hear everything again. So I went from Gladbeck Mitte via Butendorf along the allotment garden area across fields back to Gladbeck Mitte, treated myself

Summer time! And this morning I woke up and the sun was shining 🌞, so it was clear that I absolutely had to go for a ride today. Said and done, we went for a ride towards Gladbeck Ost and as soon as we got home it started to cloud over, so we did everything right 😅

Unfortunately, today is our last day of vacation, tomorrow we're heading back home. It was a lovely week in Fedderwadersiel, great house, good weather with a bit of everything, opening of the Achtern Deck 🍻. Today we'll do another round, and later we'll go to the Achtern Deck again for a farewell

Today it's a bit cloudy, so what's the best thing to do? That's right, a hike. From Fedderwadersiel across the fields along to the dike. On the way past the Melkhuis, unfortunately it was still closed, over the dike I met the sweet lambs again (always worth a photo) back to the harbor of Fedderwadersiel

The weather is being kind to us, so we hopped on our bikes to Tossens along the Binnendeich, made a short stop at Friesenstrand and walked along the food street in Tossens. You can do it, but you don't have to. Not a place for us and probably overcrowded in the summer due to the Center Park. 😉 The return

So today, in gorgeous weather, I cycled to Bremerhaven, took the ferry in Brexen, and then did some sightseeing in Bremerhaven. Afterwards, I cycled back and, as a reward, enjoyed a delicious beer 🍻 in Fedderwadersiel "Achtern Deck" while soaking up the sun ☀️. It was a wonderful day 🥰

Rain was forecast for today, but I had to get out to the sea, so I headed over the dike towards Burhave and then crisscrossed the area with a detour, and what do you know, not a single drop of rain! The sun even peeked out now and then ⛅. Everything went perfectly ☺️☺️

So, last night there was heavy rain and a storm, but in the morning the sun was shining ☀️.
