Invited the kids over for breakfast today 🥐🍳☕🥚🥣 followed by a lovely walk. The walk through the Buer city forest in glorious sunshine, past the cemetery, golf course, uh, lion park – it felt good after a long period of rest due to illness ☺️🌳😎

Today the kitchen stays cold because we're going to our favorite Greek restaurant 🇬🇷🇬🇷

Yesterday I celebrated my brother-in-law's 60th birthday, slept in today, and then went for a walk to tidy up in the beautiful weather. 🌞😉

This morning it was a cold -7.5 degrees Celsius, but the sun was shining so beautifully, so I set off immediately after breakfast from Gladbeck-Mitte via Ellinghorst to Rentfort Cemetery and back. The sun warmed my heart, making it a really lovely walk. I had to be careful in some places on the icy paths

Today at noon it started snowing heavily, so it was clear that after work I had to go for a walk in the snow, which I love so much, especially when it crunches under my shoes ❄️.



So a walk through the city forest before it all melts tomorrow – simply wonderful 😇☺️🏂❄️

Snowfall this morning in the Ruhr area too, so I put on my boots and went for a walk in the woods, looking for more snow and to clear my head. Unfortunately, I didn't quite achieve either goal 🥺🤷‍♀️ but it was still lovely in the fresh, cool air ❄️

I took advantage of the sunny, cold weather one last time and went for a walk around the central cemetery. You had to be quite careful though, as the paths were very slippery due to the overnight rain and frost ❄️, but everything went well 😅

Today, on Boxing Day, I'm going to my mother-in-law's for coffee and dinner, but first I'm taking a stroll around Butendotf. Today the temperatures are lovely ☀️ and not as freezing cold 🥶 as yesterday – really beautiful and pleasant with no wind.

Today, our last day, was shrouded in thick fog. We started with a lovely walk around midday, then stopped briefly for lunch, and in the evening headed back to the historic harbor for the light show, which was very impressive. Unfortunately, the existing fog made it even foggier. I hope the pictures still
